El Beso
Cuando me besas
mi piel se quema
en noches de luna
y cantos de amor.
Cuando me besas
soy toda tuya
caracol ardiente
escuchas mi pasion.
Cuando me besas
entro en tu embrujo
perdida en las mareas
de amor y deseos.
Cuando me besas
despiertas mis suenos
anhelo tus labios
busco tu calor.

The Eighth Day
In limbo the masses walk
from centuries past and to come
- no moral lessons-
- no chain reaction-
The pewter water is holy now.
The end is always the beginning
rebirth is the salvation
- write me a story -
- tell me a tale -
read me the verses of creation.
Black is not dark nor white is pure
the milk is pouring to bathe the navel
-how bleak the eyes can be-
-how loose the tongue must act-
-how violent the hands are-
to treason for reason does not justify.
The ego hunts the weak soul
the house is the hideout from remorse
- the book is always there-
- Take it or leave it-
The flame of consciousness is running its course.
From Genesis to Apocalypses
has anything been learned at all
-greed is Dante's inferno-
- poverty is the major sin-
How fatal good intentions can be.
The club is the mold
for cloning ignorance and intolerance
- who slanders who-
-ask me no questions-
Whose truth is it the one that set us free.

Once upon a dream
- of colorless -
images came to me
as I slept
on my brick mattress
of the color of the sky
and with a price tag
to be desired...
"nor to wonder"
was it made to comfort me?
or to make me feel
the agonizing pain of
being human
and having feelings
that have been... chained to my heart.
As I floated
in the empty space of
my fearless mind
I knew sub-realistically
- that my dream-
"was not real"
nor reality [ of my dreams ]
were about to happen
as some times we must sit
to think and to dream.
but...
I was wondering into space
looking for acrilyc paints
- so I could brush -
the images of my mind
and make them
"more acceptable"
to my selfconscious being.
As I brushed the colors of
-SUN-WATER-EARTH-
to the space where "I" was / "indeed"
maybe not floating but... - flying?
- the colors -
were washed by my tears.
I knew then...and I knew right after...
the compromise was eternal
"with" or "without"
colors-

Can I dream today of a beautiful land
where children dance by the sound of the rain
and their happy faces illuminate the nights
so the old and the tired can have hope
of better days and dreaming nights.
Can I dream today of peaceful soundless space
where we can all hold hands to embrace
the love and the strenght of our innerselfs
the ripples that our hearts form by pounding
one beat at the time like drums calling for joy.

Cities
Isolated souls
Crying hearts
Lonely sinners
Ardent flesh
Old and new
Fresh and spoiled
Rushing rivers
Palpitating lights
Windows of hope
Doors closed
Despairing dreamers
Clouds of smoke
Breathless fog
Consenting ropes
Violent sounds
Desirous lust
Broken promises
Repressive heaven
Screams for liberation
Habituated existence
Promised land.

No man is free who is not master of himself.

Just one ordinary day
[ a sunny morning ] - warm and bright -
a day of hope, songs
and love
a day of dreams, coffee
and later times.
Just another day
- to all of us -
rushing, hugging...
a kiss in the cheek...
" a bright day "
of see you later
and simple goodbyes
a day of meeting datelines
a day of calls and e-mails
a day for laughs
for shopping
for fun
for postcards
for grandeur.
And everything was gone...
- just like that -
we all saw it...
over and
over...
Why such a way of wasting
- wonderful life -
Why such an attack of evil
to humanity.
I can understand the ways of life
the time to "go"
but not like that... calculated... organized...
[ acting in the name of God ]
Why such an evil creature
could do so much damage?
an attack of horrible measure
to life, to light, to freedom.
The night is full of stars
of beautiful shining light
of comets and wishing stars.
[ I feel the peace and comfort
that the colors of
freedom provides me ]
I feel the night
so quiet, so still
and I lit my balcony
with tea-lights
- in memory-
of all those marvelous
wonderful human beings
that lost their lives.
But I will never forget them
I will always have in my heart
all those things that we feel
and think...
when we wake up in the morning.
So I will look at the sunrises and the sunsets
the stardust and the comets
the green and the blue
the ocean and the sand
for them to see / when I close my eyes.
